As a small biz owner, I've put in a lot of unexpected work to create an entrepreneur-specific, supportive community around me -- friends who've done it and get it, mentors/advisers who have expertise that I just don't have (or have the time or energy to get). I'm still trying to grow my network in this regard, but the people I've already got have been incredibly important in my planning (and anxiety-killing) process.
