You’re not alone! You may be experiencing the effects of good ol’ Mercury Retrograde.
What is Mercury Retrograde?
This happens three to four times per year, when the planet Mercury slows down, and appears to stop (station) and move backward (retrograde). It’s an optical illusion, since there is forward movement.
In 2014, all the retrogrades begin in water signs and then go into air signs.
When Mercury is in the water signs, the emotional dimension is recovered, with the wisdom that goes with it. As Mercury moves back into the air signs, it’s possible to see the past in a different light.
This is a very special time so I encourage you to embrace it instead of being pissed. There’s nothing you can do to stop Mercury Retrograde. Just surrender to what’s happening and see what there is to learn.
What are the 2014 dates of Mercury Retrograde?
- February 6th – February 28th in Pisces, then Aquarius
- June 7th – July 2nd in Cancer, then Gemini
- October 4th – 25th in Scorpio, then Libra
