You have something amazing to contribute to the world.
As a leader, you can make a huge impact through your MESSAGE + VOICE.
When you fully step into this, you feel free to express and act upon your ideas (even when those ideas push against popular convention).
If you’re familiar with the chakras, your VOICE is aligned with your 5th chakra, which is located at your throat.
When your 5th chakra is balanced, you find your true voice, in word, thought and deed.
When you’re out of alignment here, watch out. You can only keep the facade going for so long.
Your body won’t let you lie to yourself or to the world forever.
I learned this the hard way in my early 20s when I was living a life I thought I was “supposed” to have:
Public relations agency executive.
New York City.
Traveling around the world on a project with the soccer star Pele for my client.
So busy that I’d practically shovel my lunch into my mouth while sitting at my desk, attempting to work while I ate. (Not a good idea.)
I had just met my now husband and started realizing that my career path wasn’t a fit for me anymore.
It was terrifying to have that THOUGHT.
But what was even more terrifying was the fact that during many mealtimes, I felt like I was choking on my food.
I distinctly remember panicking when the food would start going down my esophagus. It felt like the food was too big … like I literally had bitten off more than I could chew.
My mind would start racing and I would start pacing the room, not knowing what to do to stop these horrible feelings and thoughts.
It wasn’t until I transformed my life and started living in alignment that these panic attacks stopped happening.
I decided to stop beating myself up.
I decided to stop being a victim.
I decided to stop saying YES when the answer was NO.
I decided to stop living in SHAME.
I decided to do work that lights me up and allows me to fully utilize the gifts God gave me.
I decided to embrace my MESSAGE and use the MEGAPHONE that is MARKETING to spread it far and wide … and empower my tribe of spiritual business leaders to do the same.
Your MESSAGE will take you on a magic carpet ride adventure.
Trust me.
This is exactly what has happened with Get Gutsy.
This first started as a book, then programs like Get Gutsy Coach Training School and Get Gutsy University … and then a podcast.
Where will the Get Gutsy message go next? I’m very excited to find out.
And I’m excited to see where YOUR message goes next.
But you MUST be willing to give it life.
You must be willing to nurture it, invest in it, and protect it.
And girl, you must be willing to EXPERIMENT.
The key to it all: CONFIDENCE.
That’s right, to activate this level of leadership, bring CONFIDENCE into the core of your being.
A few ideas:
Speak in front of a group.
Lead a webinar on your area of expertise.
Say this to yourself prior to speaking in front of any sized group, “Wisdom of the highest truth and compassion, flow and speak through me.”
Write the book you’ve been thinking about for so long! (My Book Writing Immersion course inside Get Gutsy University can help you become a published author.)
Ask a question at a workshop (even when you’re scared).
Speak up about something you believe in.
Post something on social media that is unique and authentic to your true voice.
Sing in the shower.
Go to a yoga class that offers chanting.
Learn to trust your Inner Voice (instead of your Inner Critic).
