Official Biography

Jenny Fenig unleashes the peaceful power of women to create inspired lives. She specializes in working with successful entrepreneurs and corporate women.

As a life/career coach and president of Jenny Fenig Coaching, Jenny guides people to redesign their outlook, clearly articulate their desires, release fear, and take action.  Jenny uses her training as a yoga teacher to remind her coaching clients of the importance of balance, focus, and letting go.

Her unique style of yoga-inspired coaching has led to her to be dubbed “Zen Jenny.” She believes that mindful, intentional living is the key to success. Jenny’s a fan of the adage: “If you don’t know where you’re going, any road will take you there.” She employs a powerful process of aligning values with action steps … and achieving continuous improvement in all aspects of life.

Jenny started her career as a communications manager for Kick Butts Day, an initiative to curb kids’ tobacco use.  She then moved to top public relations agency Porter Novelli in New York City, developing global, strategic programs for blue-chip clients like Kellogg, M&Ms, Polaroid and Pfizer.  A highlight of her time at PN was traveling around the world with soccer star Pelé promoting the importance of men’s sexual health and well-being.

Jenny then became a producer for the Institute for International Research (IIR), an elite, global conference organization, creating must-attend events for marketing, design and customer management executives. This fast-paced position gave her the opportunity to work with visionaries including peak performance expert Tony Robbins, former Secretary of State Colin Powell, management guru Tom Peters, Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong, and best-selling author Malcolm Gladwell.

In 2008, Jenny launched Jenny Fenig Coaching to make full use of her talents and passion for inspiring women to embrace their power in their business and life.  She hasn’t looked back.

Supporting and empowering mothers is a passion. In addition to running her thriving coaching business, Jenny is also the CEO of Inner Mama, a company dedicated to guiding moms all over the globe to reclaim themselves in the chaos of modern motherhood. Jenny gets her deep insight of mothers from her experience leading hundreds of mothers in support groups she conceived and launched in partnership with babybites.

Jenny graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida with a degree in public relations and a minor in business administration.  She received her coaching certification from the renowned Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC).  Jenny is a member of the International Coach Federation (ICF) and has received her Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential.

She earned her yoga teaching certification from Sonic Yoga’s Center for Yoga Studies.  Jenny has spent time at an ashram and has studied with top yoga teachers and scholars Seane Corn, Dharma Mittra, Shiva Rea, David Swenson, Natasha Rizopoulos, Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa and Graham Schweig.

After spending more than a decade living in New York City, Jenny now spends her time in the Berkshires of Western Massachusetts with her husband, son, and three cats.
