“Grief can be the garden of compassion. If you keep your heart open through everything, your pain can become your greatest ally in your life’s search for love and wisdom.” – Rumi

February 27 marks 22 years since my younger sister Julie left her body. Wild to think about that much time passing!

To honor her + honor this wild emotion called GRIEF, today’s episode focuses on just that.

I share some personal stories from my journey, as well as some gorgeous insights from women in the Get Gutsy Galaxy about their experience with grief and how they MOVED through the grief to LIVE AGAIN.

Women’s voices represented on this episode are: Sheila Burnham Hill, Ashley Erin, Claire Elizabeth, Hayley Anne Forster, Kimberly DeRosa, Hilde Meffert, Peggy Everson, Misty Burris Catheline, Elaine Wellman, Jessica Marie Saenz, Darlena Harris, Cybele Loening, Diana Michelle Del Guidice, Melanie Garner.

“Grief is in two parts. The first is loss. The second is the remaking of life.” – Anne Roiphe

As a human on this journey, you aren’t immune to loss. And with loss, comes grief. You don’t need to be afraid of grief. What opens up for you in the process will blow you away. Trust me on this.

“Grief is a process, not a state.” – Anne Grant
