A key element of spiritual business leadership is MAKING EXPERIMENTS. You MUST be willing to TRY NEW THINGS, take RISKS and PUT YOURSELF OUT THERE.
You’ll never be able to reach your full potential if you aren’t in regular practice of EXPERIMENTATION.
Follow your curiosity and see what happens. A new world could very well open up for you and your work. Your results will accelerate and you’ll reach a new level of success.
Ready to dive in?
Here’s a step-by-step process for you.
Part 1: Decide on an experiment to run for about the next 2 weeks (this will be your “active” GLOW assignment for 2 weeks, but feel free to modify your timeline based on your chosen experiment).
What do you want to test? What are you curious about?
Ideas for consideration:
- Digital detox every night and on weekends
- No complaining
- Smile at everyone you meet
- Pick up the PHONE and call customers to see how they are doing and what they may need help with
- Anytime someone presents an idea to you (no matter what it is), instead of saying no, say “yes, and” … see where this takes you
- Wear red lipstick everyday
- Exercise every morning
- Try a new marketing strategy you’ve never played with before
- Do something you’ve never done before
- Pray + meditate at least twice a day
- No TV
- Practice random acts of kindness
- Say I LOVE YOU to at least 5 people a day
- Only say YES when you fully are a YES (no more saying YES out of guilt or obligation)
Part 2: Share your chosen experiment + results in the Get Gutsy Galaxy Facebook group.
Fill us in on what you’re up to. This is going to be so fun to see how these experiments go!
Part 3: Spread your results on social media and/or a blog post.
Make a post on your Facebook page and/or personal profile page with your message + photo (if you have one – photos can be quite powerful + increase post engagement)
NOTE: Get in a REGULAR practice of sharing your daily life with your friends, fans and followers. I know it may FEEL that no one cares to hear about this kind of stuff, but I GUARANTEE that they do.
