Smart calendaring makes me feel sooooooo good and on top of things.

Steven sent me a list of the days he will be traveling in February. It’s essentially half the month (yikes!).

He’s taking care of business which is awesome, but not so awesome when I’m carrying too heavy of a load at home.

Yesterday I sat down and looked got a sense of how the month was going to work and what additional help I’d need. I kept in mind my business commitments + creative needs, homeschool vision, kids’ activities, the moon cycle and my own cycle.

I’m planning accordingly.

Extra babysitting time has been booked.

Next up: get togethers with friends scheduled.

I have not felt this organized and in flow, well, ever. Turning 40 last year opened up my eyes to a new way of living and being. I said YES!

Working WITH the energy, cycles and seasons vs blindly pushing against them makes all the difference. Let it be easy.

I also am a huge fan of getting help. A few months ago, Steven and I decided to increase the number of days we have a housekeeper (2 days vs 1 day). The increase in help allowed us to fully outsource the folding and putting away of laundry for the 5 of us. HEAVEN.

I had a lot of guilt and resistance around this at first. (“Who do you think you are?” ran through my head). But I knew it was the wise move for us. We give more business to our housekeeper and her team, which gives Steven and I more space to nurture our businesses, family, and ourselves.

So … this week was a big one for me. I started consciously peeling away another layer that I had outgrown. Deep, deep, important work. I wasn’t ready for this until now.

I got into the bathtub one night for an energy cleansing ritual. My daughter Kate found me (she always finds me – lol!) and we talked about spirit animals and pulled oracle cards together. We lit candles and burned incense. I’m teaching her about visualization. She is so much fun … and so open.

She kept saying, “what are we going to do next?”
