Well, here we are, on the precipice of a brand new year. Can you feel it? So much energy and potential in the air.
I’ve been spending the last week taking time off for reflection … I encourage you to do the same.
Take stock of what worked in 2012 and what you’re ready to leave behind as we move into a new chapter, a new year.
Buy yourself a year-at-a-glance calendar and chart out your dreams. Commit. Be bold. Don’t worry about “how” it will happen. The “how” isn’t really your job. Leave that to Source, Spirit, the Divine. Trust me.
Truly, right now, you are writing the pages of your book. What do you want it to say? What adventures do you want to go on? Think about it.
“We will open the book. Its pages are blank. We are going to put words on them ourselves. The book is called Opportunity and its first chapter is New Year’s Day.” ~Edith Lovejoy Pierce
The month of January is RIPE with lofty goals that often get pushed by the wayside before the end of that month. Old habits die hard, right?
Not this year for you. I know you want something different now. I know you realize how lucky you are to be here. And you want to DO something amazing and long-lasting with the gifts that you’ve been given.
Remember, you have within you the power to change the WORLD. And you will. And you are.
You are the MOST amazing creature. Exquisite. Perfectly imperfect.
“We spend January 1 walking through our lives, room by room, drawing up a list of work to be done, cracks to be patched. Maybe this year, to balance the list, we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives… not looking for flaws, but for potential.” ~Ellen Goodman
Will there be roadblocks? Yes. Will there be obstacles? Yes. Will there be naysayers and critics? Yes. Will there be breakdowns? Yes.
But the breakdowns lead to the breakthroughs. And the breakthroughs is where you rise above, where you are set FREE to do your big work in the world.
You are strong enough. You are smart enough. You are enough.
Thank YOU for being on this journey with me. It means everything to have you here.
“One resolution I have made, and try always to keep, is this: To rise above the little things.” ~John Burroughs
