Since you must be alive if you’re reading this right now, I’m going to venture that the answer is YES.
Guess what? We ALL deal with these 3 crazy feelings as we grow our businesses and lives. It’s part of the deal of a process I call UPLEVELING.
FEAR is the “biggie” that has derailed me the most. Let me tell you a quick story …
I remember it as if it were yesterday.
There I was looking at my total income in my Excel spreadsheet in late 2009 and freaking out. While my infant son Sean napped in his crib, I was squinting at the cells of this stupid spreadsheet wishing that the numbers would add up to something bigger.
Private coaching clients = $10,354
Freelance conference production work = $10,150
Leading new moms support groups = $4,450
One private yoga client who stopped after 2 sessions = $180
Grand total = less than $30,000!!
My heart dropped into my stomach.
These numbers just weren’t going to work, especially living in New York City.
Not when I earned $175,000 just 2 years prior as a corporate gal.
Not when I was busting my ass growing my dream coaching business yet realizing that I didn’t even WANT to have a “full” coaching practice of 20 clients a week and be on the phone with clients 6 hours a day on the 3 days a week I was working after having a baby.
I felt like someone punched me in the stomach.
What was I going to do?
This formula, this game plan just wasn’t for me.
I felt the FEAR start to swallow me up whole …
But right around that time, something miraculous happened:
