The theme for JUNE is: CONNECT WITH NATURE.
Just because we love building our empires on our fabulous computers, we can’t forget to GO OUTSIDE.
Do you know where I get my best ideas? You know, the ideas that allow me to reach more, make more and play more?
In these 4 spots:
- On airplanes
- In the shower
- In yoga class
- In nature
What I find fascinating is that each of the spots I listed involve NATURE and powerful elements like ether, water, earth and fire.
My best ideas simply don’t come when I’m sitting behind my computer FORCING them to come out.
I have a feeling you know what I’m talking about.
So STOP forcing your creativity to come out in places where you’re not inspired.
Now that we are rocking our way in to SUMMER here in the Northern Hemisphere, I want you to take FULL ADVANTAGE of the warmer days and nights and spend as much time OUTSIDE as humanly possible. Seriously. You’ll thank me for this.
Some ideas for you …
Take a walk every morning listening to your favorite podcast or training audio.
Go for a swim before or after your client calls.
Book a photographer to shoot marketing photos of you in nature that capture your true essence.
Do sun salutations on your deck.
Buy a beautiful crystal to infuse powerful energy into your work or living space (or both!).
Write in your pretty journal on the grass as you download your ideas, thoughts, feelings and vision for the day.
Bring rocks you find out on a walk or run into your space.
Create a bouquet of fresh lilac and marvel at the smell.
Allow your 5 senses – taste, touch, scent, sound and sight – to influence your marketing copy and client communications.
There is such WISDOM in nature. Strategically build this into your brand as you take your business to new heights AND have fun while you’re at it.
Because what’s the point of working if we’re not having fun?
Summer is the PERFECT time to harness nature and plant seeds for your growing body of work. Don’t get complacent. Don’t lose your focus.
Let go of whatever you’ve outgrown.
Make space for your next level of growth.
