As I move forward into the next chapter of my life, I’m ready to let go of the belief that I must hold up the world.
The world can hold itself up, thank you very much.
So much of my life I’ve given so much, often to the point of exhaustion. This isn’t sustainable. You know what I mean.
So what do you do when you’re a teacher, leader, mother, spouse and people turn to you for guidance?
TEACH THEM HOW TO TAKE CARE OF THEMSELVES. Show them the way, but don’t enable unhealthy habits.
My mission is show my people how to take care of themselves, how to be of service, how to get gutsy and how to fulfill the call of their soul.
I choose to release the need to be all things to all people …
I choose to release the tendency to go along with decisions I’m not in alignment with …
I choose to release my past behavior of staying IN something long after I’ve moved on.
I will not avoid subjects that are crucial to my growth. I will not enable my people to avoid areas that are crucial to their growth either.
I’m saying YES to being a spiritual leader … and all that comes with it.
Faith has become my best friend on this quest. Yes, I’m a woman of faith and I stand strong in who I am and why I’m here.
Here’s what I know to be true …
“We are spiritual beings here to create positive change in the world. Our assignment is to wake up and leave the planet healthier than how we found it. Love is our universal language.”
This FAITH STATEMENT flowed right through me at Gabby Bernstein’s Kripalu retreat. It was extraordinary. I shared my statement with the audience of hundreds.
When you know what you stand for, you stand tall and you stand strong.
