Group programs generate the majority of the revenue of my multiple-6-figure business, a business I run from home while homeschooling my kids. I lead a non-traditional life. When I create programs, I allow the energy to flow inward and then onto the page (or screen) and I trust it.
I know what places I want to take my people and I structure the the curriculum to get us where we’re meant to be.
I leave plenty of space for exploration and discovery within the program. Because the real magic happens when they walk out of the room and deeper into themselves. My job is ensuring they can and will do this.
The mark of a solid group program leader is to know how to hold all of this and not fall apart from the pressure.
If you want to lead people through transformative experiences, you also need to know how to create your offering AND get it off the ground filled with people you’re pumped to serve.
Having a vision is a start, but it’s not enough. You need to know how to make this manifest in the world. This is true whether you’re creating a retreat, group program or course. They are all connected (and I’ve led them all … and still do).
